This Bernheim Forest Engagement Session is one for the books! Sometimes everything just works perfectly for a session. The weather is perfect. The lighting is perfect. The photographer is in a creative mood. ;). For Christa and Zach’s session last Sunday, everything just felt right. It was my first time shooting at the Bernheim Forest, and I hope I get to go back soon. There were so many options and beautiful spots! We couldn’t believe the lack of people! This session was so much fun for me.
I had a great time getting to know Christa and Zach, who were total naturals in front of the camera. I love when I have the privilege of meeting and serving high school sweethearts! To make this location even more special, we actually found a bench which was dedicated to Christa’s grandfather. We were able to snap a few photos with it, and I included a couple below. Today, Christa is finishing up her degree at Western Kentucky University. Zach is an accountant. He graduated from the University of Louisville. Go Cards! I loved their positive attitude about a long distance relationship. Instead of seeing it as a negative, Christa and Zach view it as an opportunity to strengthen themselves and their relationship. They are truly wonderful people, and I can’t wait until their 2019 wedding day.
I hope you enjoy their engagement photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
