Where do I even begin? I had so much fun shooting Emily and James’ Henry Clay engagement session! I always express to my couples how important I think these sessions are because it really gives us a chance to get to know each other, and get comfortable before the wedding day.  At Emily and James’ session we did exactly that!  They were so easy to spend time with!  Emily even arrived with a handmade gift for me!!  I loved getting to hear about their love story, and how long they’ve been waiting for this sweet chapter in their lives.

Emily chose this location for their session, and I could not have been more excited to shoot at the Henry Clay Estate!  It’s a stunning historic spot, and we pretty much had the place to ourselves!  The garden was absolutely immaculate, and we spotted the cutest rabbit multiple times!  The lighting was dreamy, and it goes without saying how photogenic Emily and James are!

Their love for each other is so evident and sweet, and it makes me SO excited for their big day in December!  I know Emily will be such a beautiful bride (inside and out)!!!
