A few months ago, when Julia and Alcivanio reached out to me to photograph their intimate wedding at Duncan Memorial Chapel, I was over the moon!!
Duncan Memorial Chapel was built in the 1930s, and has so much charm. You can read all about it’s history on their website, here. I immediately fell in love with its symmetry, stonework, and detailed stained glass windows.
This chapel was the perfect place for Julia and Alcivanio to tie the knot- two of the absolute sweetest people I have ever met. We met at the Chapel a couple of days prior to their wedding day for portraits, and it was the perfect opportunity to get to know each other.
Julia gave me her bouquet that night, and I was absolutely shocked! I will never forget that kind gesture! That’s just how these two are.
As I watched them interact with their family and friends on their wedding day, sharing hugs and holding hands, with all of the people they loved the most, I could tell just how caring and thoughtful these two are. They are a perfect match- Julia’s mom told me herself with tears in her eyes.
It goes without saying that it was a privilege for me to witness and capture this charming wedding day. Congratulations Julia & Alcivanio!
