I’m so excited to finally share some of my favorite weddings from the Summer!
Peter and Rachel’s wedding day is the perfect place to start. They tied the knot at My Old Kentucky Home in Bardstown, Kentucky. My husband Ryan actually grew up in Bardstown, and has a ton of nostalgic for it, so it was fun to take a look for myself. Bardstown is the most adorable town, and of course if you love bourbon, you’ve gotta check it out!
Needless to say, I was so stoked to finally get a chance to photograph a wedding day at My Old Kentucky Home- such a classic venue. The property is gorgeous with ancient trees, plenty of shade, and a beautiful garden. It’s such a great representation of Kentucky’s charm. Rachel’s classic style paired perfectly with the property.
She wore a stunning off-the-shoulder-gown that, when tied up differently, doubled as a strapless gown. The giant bow in the back, tied by one of her bridesmaids, looked so organic and perfect on wedding day. Rachel decided off-the-shoulder for first look and ceremony, and then strapless for the ceremony! It fit her like a glove.
Rachel & Peter chose My Old Kentucky Home so they could show off a little bit of Kentucky spirit with their friends and family from far away. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to be a part of such a memorable day! Enjoy!!!
