If you’ve been following along this week, you might have noticed that Audrey Rose Photography took some anniversary photos for us! I know, I know. Our anniversary isn’t until June!…. Today I want to share with you some of my key takeaways from being on the OTHER side of the lens. As a photographer, I can sometimes get into the zone and forget what it feels like to be a client.

One thing I truly believe in as a wedding photographer is that it’s important for my clients and me to jive. I always explain to my potential clients that they will be spending A LOT of time with me on their wedding day. And, I will be there during the most personal moments, too. It’s important that you can imagine me being there on your wedding day, which is why I hope to open up more to my clients and potentials clients in 2018!

Do you have a New Year’s resolution or goals for the year? My personal resolution is to take life (and myself) less seriously. This year, I hope to just spend a little more time relaxing and enjoying the moment.
I also have some goals for my wedding photography business and goals to improve my skillz (Yes with a z, stop trying to correct me spellcheck!)
